Bridgette Desmond
Events Planning Chair
Bridgette Desmond is the Communications Manager for the Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization for the purpose of advancing the economic, industrial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of the Greater Portsmouth area. Desmond is responsible for the management and design of the Chamber’s collateral, newsletters, websites, and social networking. She also trains Granite State Ambassadors, is an integral member of event planning teams, and a photographer whose work has been used on the cover of the Chamber’s primary tourism marketing piece, the 2010 Seacoast Guide. She is a 2009 graduate from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Women’s Studies and a concentration in Business and Marketing. She grew up in Merrimack NH, and attended Merrimack High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She currently resides in Portsmouth, and is an avid snowboarder and outdoor enthusiast.
