Stay Work Play is going on tour with our standout program Policy & Pints!

This statewide event series gathers young people in each region of New Hampshire to talk about the issues shaping their daily lives, the communities they call home, and what’s driving them to stay—or leave—the Granite State. All of it happens with neighbors in good conversation, at local haunts over your favorite beverage.

Expect lively and engaging facilitated discussions, focused on evaluating your ideas, exploring solutions to issues affecting your quality of life in New Hampshire, and avenues to plug in and push for progress, all while building a collective sense of community. With the shared goal of voicing barriers and boons as well as ideas to address them, we promote respectful and collaborative dialogue throughout the series.

Your participation continues even after the event! The outcomes from each stop on the series will serve to inform Stay Work Play’s advocacy efforts in the legislative session, educating our lawmakers on what young people are really up against and creating a network of supported and amplified YP voices from each region of the state.

We're excited to announce that Catapult will be participating in the Hampton Beach Seafood Festival on Friday, September 5th from 6pm-9pm! We'll be covering the beer tent and need your help to make this event a success.

What We Need: Volunteers to help us staff the beer tent during our shift. This is a great opportunity to represent Catapult in the community while having fun at one of Hampton's favorite events!

What's In It For You: As a thank you for volunteering, you'll receive your choice of:

• Full festival weekend wristband (giving you access to the entire festival)

• $10 voucher to use at participating restaurants

Past participating restaurants have included JB's, Boardwalk, Mrs. Mitchells, and more (additional restaurants TBA - the lineup varies each summer).

The Piscataqua sails from the Gundalow Company's dock at Prescott Park, at the end of Water Street.  If navigating on road by GPS enter “60 Marcy Street” in Portsmouth. Water Street is a private alley approximately 50 yards down the street from our gift shop, and across the street from the restaurant Puddle Dock. The dock is located at the end of Water Street. If you visit the Gundalow Company's gift shop at 60 Marcy Street they will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Wentworth Senior Living is in downtown Portsmouth, so please arrive early to park onsite as space is limited. There is room in the "Visitor Parking" lot, street parking, and parking down the street by Citizen's Bank. This is a senior living community with alarms so please use the phone in the vestibule to be buzzed in! (Please also note, some seniors have memory impairments but still can appreciate a good conversation!)

Social Hour is taken place in WSL's Clubhouse at 3:45pm and goes until their dinner time at 5pm, with about 10-15 seniors that join to chat with one another - They always love meeting new people! We hope you can come!
